Our Process

At Great Canadian Insulation, we pride ourselves on the way our contractors conduct themselves. We are dedicated to providing quality work for all our clients. Let us walk you through our process of installing truck bed liners.

Consultation and Inspection

You'll need to book a consultation with one of our contractors before we install your spray-on truck bed liner. One of our contractors will give you a free estimate based on the size and how long the job will take.

Preparation

Our first step is removing the tailgate and accessories from the pickup truck. Your contractor will vacuum the area, ensuring any holes and drains are free of dirt and debris. Scrubbing will remove oil, wax-based residue, and petroleum.

Your contractor will use painter's tape to secure drain holes and mask off areas you don't want the liner to cover.

Another important step is sanding the painted surface. Your contractor will use sandpaper on rusted areas to allow the spray to adhere to the bed liner.

How It's Done

Your contractor begins by filling up the sprayer. They will apply the product by holding the sprayer 18 inches away from the bed while moving in a sweeping motion. After waiting 10 minutes, another coat is applied using different paths to prevent a shadow pattern from forming. It's important to note that each coat is light.

Lastly, your contractor will remove the painter's tape. Then you have your brand new spray-on truck bed liner!

Why Get a Truck Bed Liner?

People choose to get truck bed liners for many reasons. These are some of the common reasons our customers come to us:

  • Fewer Scratches and Dents: When bringing materials to a construction site, they tend to shift around in the back of your truck bed. Getting a liner stops scrapes that can cause rusting and corrosion.

  • Non-Slip: Speaking of heavy loads moving around, having a bed liner lowers your risk of damaging goods during transport, since it is a non-slip surface.

  • Less Maintenance: Not only does a liner protect your truck bed — it also lowers your overall maintenance costs. Fewer repairs are required when you have protection.

  • UV Protection: Heat can damage your vehicle when it gets hot outside. A bed liner will prevent your truck's paint job from fading.

  • Easy Repairs: Spray-on truck bed liners are made to last and require little to no repairs. In the event that it does need fixing, call your contractor to respray the areas with wear and tear.

For the reasons stated above, our customers love our spray-on truck bed liners. Do you have a question about our product? Call Great Canadian Insulation to book a consultation for a free estimate today!
